WIAW

I began last Friday morning with an early, heated vinyasa class at Core Power Yoga. I say it al the time, but I don’t really like the studio; I only go there when I can’t find a class that fits my schedule at my regular studio.

Forgot to take a picture, but on my way out of the house, before class, I grabbed just two small chocolate-covered peanut butter pretzel bites I brought back to Hawaii from Trader Joe’s in NYC. They’re delicious and addicting because they’re salty and sweet.

WIAW

I showered after class and then swung by Blue Tree Cafe to pick up breakfast.

I decided on a smoothie made with almond milk, almond butter, Vega chocolate protein, banana, cherries, maca and cinnamon. Yum!

WIAW

Mid-morning I snacked on a handful of simply elizabeth. granola, my favorite (forgot to take a picture).

I worked all day, taking a super quick break for lunch at the Whole Foods salad bar. I picked out a bunch of greens (topped with vegan ranch dressing), one chip (lol), a small portion of kalua pork , purple sweet potato, and a piece of pita with spinach artichoke dip. I love just being able to taste a little bit of everything.

I also had one of these dark chocolate peanut butter cups.

On Fridays I got straight from work to Power Yoga Hawaii, my favorite studio, where I assist Laura Mary’s class. On the way I drank an aloe coconut water.

Last Friday a lot of people were sick and couldn’t make it, so I took the class rather than assisting.

When I got home (around 8:15 pm) I was so hungry! Dinner wasn’t ready yet and I don’t think I’ve ever been so hangry. I heated up half an everything bagel and smothered it in avocado, lemon juice, radish and spices.

Finally dinner was ready: carrot ginger soup from Whole Foods…

As well as roast chicken, no-mayo coleslaw, and some salad/veggies on the side. Thank goodness, I was so starving!
